Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka quickly deleted a social media post after defeat to Wolves this week.

The Mirror says Xhaka reacted to the Gunners' frustrating defeat by Wolves by posting an angry message on Instagram.

Alongside a picture of himself pointing at referee Craig Pawson, the Switzerland international wrote: "Feeling frustrated... we didn't deserve that."

The post was quickly removed by Xhaka, seemingly out of concern that he could be reprimanded by the FA, and perhaps certainly on the recommendation of his advisers.

After two red cards - one controversial - a penalty, and a Wolves brace, Arsenal returned to north London with nothing to show from their travels.
