Aston Villa boss Dean Smith says no approach has been fielded from Bournemouth for John Terry.
Smith's No2 is being linked with the vacant manager's job at Bournemouth.
"We haven't been contacted by Bournemouth and haven't spoken to John Terry about it," Smith said.
"I think it would happen when it suits everybody.
"He wants to go into management and there has to be a right time and a right club."
