Sevilla sports chief Monchi admits discussing Real Madrid midfielder Isco with president Jose Castro.
Isco was linked with Sevilla before Monchi signed Papu Gomez from Atalanta.
He revealed, "If he is the president, he had to say all the names we speak ... Isco's conversation lasted approximately 15 or 20 seconds, I don't think more.
"It was news that had come out and the president asked me 'Is there anything to this?' and I answered: 'evidently not'.
"That was all the interest in Isco."
