As football can be unpredictable, especially in extra time, we would like to offer you last-minute tips before the battle begins with Kickstox - Extra Time!
We posted earlier on our social media that James Justin might be a good pick for your portfolio. The young right back is having his breakthrough season with a ton of excellent performances. Justin, however, incurred an ACL injury in the FA cup win this week against Brighton & Hove Albion and will not play anymore for the rest of the season. Make sure you sell him and start looking at his possible replacements.
One of them could be Timothy Castagne, the Belgian right back. He costs €7.017 and has an expected match rating of 5.8. Another option to replace Justin could be good old Ricardo Pereira, who has been at the club since 2018. He costs a bit more at €7.880 but has a lower expected match rating at 5.6.
The second tip we want to give you is regarding the form. In these articles, we talk about an expected match rating. This is based on the current form of the player, which we measure from the last five games of that player.
Should the player have played a great couple of matches recently, there will be an expectation to perform well the next game and we depict that expectation through a score (ie. Ricardo Pereira’s expected match rating of 5.6). The player will only increase in value if he outperforms his expected score and vice versa, if he performs worse than his expected score, his price will drop.
Therefore, make sure to keep an eye out on players and their form, which can be found by clicking on a player’s name, and if you know a player has performed exceptionally in the past few matches, he might not be the best pick for your portfolio.
Remember that watching ‘live’ matches will give you an edge over other traders who do not watch the ‘live’ matches. An example could be that you have a player in your portfolio, who is not performing well and decreasing in value.
If you are watching the game ‘live’, you can see his poor performance and sell the player, thereby limiting the damage to your portfolio value. The same goes for a player who is performing well, which you do not yet have in your portfolio.
You could watch him play well, buy him before his price soares even more, and benefit from those extra percentage gains! As such, make sure you watch those ‘live’ matches!
