Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk has applied for a Belgian passport.

Struijk, a Holland youth international, has spoken to Belgium coach Roberto Martinez about committing to the Rode Duivels ahead of the Euros.

Het Nieuwsblad reports the Belgian Federation have confirmed Struijk has applied for a Belgian passport.

Although Struijk prefers the Dutch national team, Martínez hopes to convince him to choose Belgium with a charm offensive.

The condition of selection is that he has a Belgian passport.
