RM5b more needed to counter Covid

Kota Kinabalu: Former Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal (pic) said the Government should  allocate another RM5 billion for Covid-19 screenings, contact tracing and vaccination programmes if it wants to curb the Covid-19 pandemic and revive the economy.

The Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) President said curbing the pandemic efficiently is key to the country’s economic revival and that the Government should not be too frugal in providing allocations for such purpose.
