Lo Celso was signed by Spurs last season from Real Betis and is a favourite of manager Jose Mourinho.
However, there is hope inside Atletico that he can be tempted back to the LaLiga thanks to their better prospects of regular Champions League football.
In an injury-hit campaign, Lo Celso has played 19 games this season in which he has scored five goals and provided an assist.
