Brighton defender Michal Karbownik is targeting a Premier League debut.
The Pole, 19, made his first Albion appearance in the FA Cup defeat at Leicester City last night.
He said: “I grow as a player and a person every day.
“It's a good club to develop and I am delighted to be here. I also really like Brighton itself, it's a nice place.
“I am enjoying working with the manager. I believe he's happy with how I am getting on.
“I am fighting every day in training to show him that I am ready to play in the Premier League."
Karbownik is an option on the left with Solly March ruled out for about 12 weeks by a knee injury.
The Poland international told brightonandhovealbion.com: “I played on the right against Leicester but I feel good playing on either side of defence or in midfield.
“But I don't mind where I play as long as I am in the team."
