Torino president Urbano Cairo admits they're battling to secure Andrea Belotti to a new contract.
Belotti has a deal to 2022.
“Belotti has been with us since 2015, we already extended his contract once and our intention is to do it again, having made a very advantageous proposal," Cairo told Sky Italia.
“Clearly, the player has to be convinced and I hope he will be. Since he arrived, we have come ninth in two seasons, once 12th and the last two campaigns – including the current one – weren't up to scratch.
“However, we always constructed good teams. We'll do our best on an economic level and we'll see if he is motivated to remain."
