Warnings over CNY open burnings

Kota Kinabalu: Warnings were issued against residents caught carrying out open burning activities in residential areas during a four-day Chinese New Year 2021 Operation launched by the Department of Environment (DoE). 

The operation which ended on Feb 14 saw 40 enforcement officers from Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Tawau and Beaufort deployed to carry out patrols and monitor premises that were at risk of causing environmental pollution.
