Govt prioritises gender equality in rural development

Kota Kinabalu: The Government has given due attention to gender issues in the country in its efforts to mainstream gender equality so women’s progress can be on par with men.

State Assistant Minister of Works, Datuk Robert Tawik, said efforts like this will provide equal opportunities to women in line with their male counterparts.
