West Ham United remain interested in Olympique Marseille defender Duje Caleta-Car.
Both the Hammers and Liverpool made an attempt for the Croatia international last month, but OM priced him out of a move away.
Canal+'s David Berger reports West Ham are still keen and will try again for the stopper this summer.
Liverpool, however, are unlikely to try again after signing Ozan Kabak (Schalke) and Ben Davies (Preston) on deadline day.
Caleta-Car said last week: "I received an offer from Liverpool. It was an honour for me to know that such a club wanted me. We decided with the club that I was going to stay. OM are also a great club and I still have a lot of progress to make here."
