Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not sure whether forward Marcus Rashford will play for England in the upcoming international break.
The Red Devils forward did not participate in their FA Cup quarter final defeat to Leicester City on Sunday.
United lost the game 3-1, and Rashford was not in the squad due to an injury he sustained against AC Milan on Thursday.
While Rashford is likely to report for England duty, Solskjaer is not sure whether he will be fit enough to play in their World Cup Qualifiers.
"No, he wasn't close [to playing against Leicester]," Solskjaer told BBC.
"We took him off and he thought he'd be ready but, yesterday, he had no chance of walking on his foot.
"The scans show there's an injury there but, of course, we've got players coming back – Anthony [Martial] and Donny [van de Beek] coming back in, so there are positives as well.
"I don't know [any timeframe for a return].
"The doctor will speak to the English [FA] but I think he'll travel and report for them. Maybe he'll be fit for them."
