Newcastle United could be about to announce the signing of Matthew Bondswell from RB Leipzig.
The young defender has been with RB Leipzig since 2018, when he left the Nottingham Forest academy.
But after a poor spell on loan with Dutch side Dordrecht, Bondswell saw his contract with Leipzig terminated in January.
Reports in the UK have claimed the 18-year-old has agreed to join the Magpies.
West Ham United, Leeds United and Chelsea have all been linked with the Englishman.
