Leeds star Mateusz Klich has tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of Poland's World Cup Qualifier with Hungary on Thursday.

The midfielder is now set to miss the game, as he must isolate before getting the results of a second test.

If he comes back positive again, he may even miss his country's clash with Andorra on Sunday and against England next Wednesday

Klich does not have any symptoms so far, per the Polish FA.

Jakub Kwiatkowski, media officer of the Polish FA, tweeted: "The Polish national team received the results of the SARS-Cov-2 test this morning.

"Unfortunately, in the case of Mateusz Klich, the result is positive. The competitor is well and shows no symptoms of illness, but his trip to Budapest is excluded. Today the test was repeated."'
