Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is unhappy with FIFA squeezing in an international round during a busy season.
Arteta would prefer his players not to be going off on international duty this week — in fact, he wishes none of them were given the on-going situation.
He said: “Obviously from a selfish point of view and with the lack of preparation we had this season and the amount of games we have already played, from our side it doesn't make a lot of sense to expose players again.
“But it's a decision we have nothing to do with.
“We have given our decision as managers and now there are other institutions that have to make the decision and it's clear that the games are going to be played and if some players can't travel to certain countries then they won't play."
