Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was delighted with their Champions League against Atalanta.
Real won 3-1 on Tuesday to reach the quarterfinals 4-1 on aggregate.
Zidane said, “It was a good game, Atalanta did well too, but we were above all good defensively. Once we have that, we know that we can do some good things with the ball.
“I think it was in general a good match from start to finish.
“That was the objective for us, to progress. We had a good first leg performance, we knew it was going to be very difficult, it was indeed difficult, but we played well.
“Over the two legs, I feel we deserved to qualify for the next round. We've achieved nothing yet, there's a long way to go in both La Liga and the Champions League."
