Growing greens in the heart of the city

Kota Kinabalu: Not many people in the heart of the city can boast of having an acre devoted to growing vegetables. Lee Thien Fook is an exception.

“You are what you eat,” said Lee, owner of a plot in which he grows Kale in Signal Hill. 

“It is even more relevant now that the world is badly hit by the pandemic (Covid-19), so our life and health are at risk anytime, anywhere,” he said, adding a diet of greens builds up the immune system.
