Renan Lodi has put his hands up as the target for Atletico Madrid teammate Joao Felix after he scored in victory against Villarreal.
After scoring, Felix pointed to the bench and made a 'shhh' gesture.
It was claimed Felix was taking aim at coach Diego Simeone, however Lodi has since declared it was he whom the attacker was targeting.
Felix was reacting to some wind-up tactics from his good friend before the game, as the Brazilian explained on social media.
"Don't be angry, you said it and you have done it. We are together, brother!" posted Lodi.
