Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge can't guarantee keeping hold of Niklas Sule this summer.

Off contract in 2022, Sule is being linked with Chelsea and Manchester United in both Germany and England.

Rummenigge told Aktuellen Sportstudio: “Basically he is a German national player. And the philosophy of our club is that we want the good German national players at FC Bayern.

"He now has one more year contract in the summer and then discussions are held. And then we will see what result they lead to.

“We'll look at the whole thing seriously and calmly until summer. Then we will have to make decisions. FC Bayern no longer has the financial resources available.

"If we find a solution, we are generally happy to extend the contract. But that will only be possible under certain conditions."
