Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Amad Diallo will be 'better off' after scoring his first goal for the club.

The 18-year-old came on at half-time for Anthony Martial in Thursday's Europa League clash with AC Milan.

Diallo put United ahead with a fine header before Simon Kjaer rescued a draw for Milan at the death.

Asked about Diallo, Solskjaer said: "He's creative. He plays with freedom.

"A great pass by Bruno [Fernandes] by the way, that's of course what makes the goal.

"Amad, he's been on the pitch before, but nice goal. He's got lots to learn and he'll be better off from having that."
