Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman is impressed by youth teamer Nico Gonzalez.
Gonzalez, son of Deportivo La Coruna legend Fran, caught Koeman's eye while playing a training match with Barcelona B in September, but the youngster has yet to sign a new contract.
The 19-year-old's current deal expires this summer, although he has been tipped by some as the successor to Sergio Busquets.
With his sights set on his first big contract, the Galician midfielder has offers on the table from a number of clubs, including in Germany, England and the Netherlands, but Joan Laporta's arrival may be the key to him remaining in Barcelona.
Having already impressed Koeman, should Nico sign an extension at the Camp Nou then it may not be long before we see him with the first team, reports Marca
