Tahfiz student drowns in  Kiulu River

Tuaran: A 14-year-old tahfiz student drowned while swimming in the Kiulu River near a homestay in Kg Ranap, Kiulu, on Sunday.

The body of the victim, a first year student of Madrasah Tahfiz Darul Ulum Azzkia, Papar, was found in the river some 300 metres from where he was last seen at 7.05am.
