AC Milan hope to find a compromise with Gigio Donnarumma in new contract talks.
The young goalkeeper's deal expires in June and negotiations over a new agreement are at deadlock.
Donnarumma wants €9m-a-year to re-sign, while Milan have so far offered €6m-a-year, so leading to a stand-off.
The situation has alerted clubs across Europe, with Chelsea and Juventus among interested teams to make contact with Donnarumma's agent, Mino Raiola.
But Gazzetta dello Sport says Milan hope to find a compromise with a €7m one-year contract to keep hold of the Italy international for next season.
