Chelsea fullback Ben Chilwell admits their 0-0 draw with Leeds United was a surprise.

Chilwell says they expected a high-scoring affair.

He remarked afterwards: "Coming into the game people would have predicted goals. The way Leeds play is free flowing, they're athletic and switch positions on the pitch a lot. It was a tough game, it was disappointing we didn't get the win.

"There were chances, I had a few and one I should score. Defensively we're solid but going forward we want to score more goals to get these sort of wins. When it comes down to it we know we can rely on Edouard [Mendy] to provide those crucial saves for us."

On rotation in the team, Chilwell added: "It is [challenging]. It's a good thing when you have so many good players in each position. It means everyone's fighting for a spot and we push each other. It's a good thing."
