Chelsea want to complete contract talks with Antonio Rudiger before the Euros this summer.

The Germany centre-back has become a key player for Thomas Tuchel since he replaced Frank Lampard in January.

The Blues have notched 10 sheets under their new manager, with Rudgier featuring in eight of those games.

But with Rudiger's contract expiring in the summer of 2022, Chelsea are worried about losing him.

The Daily Mailsays the west London club want him to sign an extension before he plays for Germany in the Euros this summer.

Chelsea want to avoid speculation over Rudiger's future carrying on through the tournament and the transfer window.

A number of European clubs are monitoring the former Roma man as they would be free to begin pre-contract negotiations in January.
