Kota Kinabalu: It has emerged that not only the name of Kadazan Dusun leader OKK Lojungah Mohigil was likely removed by Kota Kinabalu City Hall many years ago but another historically important figure nearly suffered a similar fate.

He was late Bajau-Sama leader OKK Laiman Diki bin Siran whose family was forced to write to DBKK, then Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Lajim Ukin and then Museum Director, Datuk Yunus Awang Hashim,  not to remove the road sign bearing his name.
