Barcelona are on the brink of burning off Premier League competition for the signing of Austrian prospect Yusuf Demir.
Manchester United and Manchester City are keen on Rapid Vienna's senior 17 year-old midfielder, but Barca are actively pushing to close an agreement after Joan Laporta was confirmed new president last week.
Local reporter Ekrem Konur reports Barça is favourite to land Demir. The journalist has announced that the Austrian is very close to signing with the Blaugrana for €13m.
An agreement would see Demir become the first addition of the new Laporta era.
