Atletico Madrid are making a surprising move for Chelsea club captain Cesar Azpilicueta.
The veteran Spaniard has played an important role in a back three under new boss Thomas Tuchel.
And according to El Gol Digital, Atletico boss Diego Simeone wishes to sign the Spaniard.
Azpilicueta is 31 and has been with the Blues since 2012.
Chelsea could sell Azpi if manager Thomas Tuchel goes and signs German centre-back Niklas Sule from Bayern Munich.
