AC Milan hero Mauro Tassotti has left the door open to returning to the Rossoneri.
The former defender and long time Milan coach has been linked with a return amid talk of football chief Paolo Maldini pushing for Tassotti to join the backroom staff.
He told Tuttosport: "I'm back with the Rossoneri? I go where my work takes me, the important thing is how it feels to work.
"I arrived at Milan when I was 20 and left at 56, they adopted me. It's my home and the place where I was best.
"36 years of football is a lifetime. As an assistant coach I was fine, a relationship had been created that went beyond work and I felt fulfilled like that."
