Max Allegri is being discussed inside Juventus' board room as a replacement for Andrea Pirlo.

La Repubblica says Juve's 1-1 draw with Fiorentina on Sunday has left Pirlo under huge pressure to keep his job.

Indeed, it's claimed Pirlo will leave Juve at the end of the season, with president Andrea Agnelli's position also under threat. The Super League fiasco only adding to growing criticism of Agnelli over the appointment of Pirlo, along with the depreciation of the squad since Allegri's dismissal.

And it's suggested Agnelli's return is now being discussed by directors as the only move able to unite the players, management and fans after a dismal year.
