Police deny using force

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah police are conducting an investigation over allegations that one of those detained during a peaceful rally at Kg Muhibbah in Tawau on Saturday was assaulted by police in the process.

“We take the allegations seriously and I have ordered an immediate investigation on the matter,” said State Police Commissioner Datuk Hazani Ghazali (pic), in a statement, Sunday.
