Unrest at M’ggatal DTI: Strike Force deployed

Kota Kinabalu: Light Strike Force teams were deployed to subdue unrest among detainees at the Manggatal Immigration Detention Depot (DTI), near here, Sunday. 

“It is not a riot but only a slight commotion that was calmed down within an hour by the Immigration Department with the help of the police,” said Sabah Immigration Director Datuk Dr Muhamad Sade Mohamad Amin (pic).
