Arsenal Supporters' Trust are insisting fans be involved in any new takeover attempt of the club.
Swedish billionaire Daniel Ek is said to be preparing a bid for Arsenal and reports in the Telegraph suggest club legends Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira are involved with his proposal.
Gunners fans have been demanding that owner Stan Kroenke sell the club after he attempted to take them into a European Super League.
On Friday, the Arsenal Supporters' Trust tweeted they “will support any potential purchaser who will allow fans to own a real equity stake and give fans a meaningful say in how our club is run".
These comments came before news of the potential involvement of three iconic former players.
Asked if having Arsenal legends involved with Ek's plans alters their stance, a spokesman for the AST told Football.London: "Our position is the same. We will work with anyone who can address our key issues as set out in that tweet.
"The AST has said for many years that the club needs more football experience on its board so welcome the reported involvement of some of the club's greatest ever legends."
