Porto coach Sergio Conceicao was proud of the players after the 1-0 win over Chelsea.
Porto won the second-leg 1-0 last night, but were knocked out at the quarterfinal stage 2-1 on aggregate.
Conceicao later said, "We could have scored earlier, but it is true that we did not create so many great chances. On the other hand, we did not allow many opportunities, except in the final minutes.
"I am extremely proud of the players and the way they trust their work. It was one of the best matches I have been involved in in Europe, because it had it all.
"We were really good in the defensive organisation against a fantastic team."
