Kota Kinabalu: Sabah MCA is of the opinion that all safeguards under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) should be reinstated and call for the amendments of all constitution provisions and laws which contradict the spirit and intentions of the Malaysia Agreement.
Its Chief, Lu Yen Tung (pic), said Sabah MCA also proposed that a high-level committee be set up immediately consisting politicians, academics, historians, legal profession and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to discuss the areas to be amended.
