SANDAKAN: A skipper and his four Indonesian fishing crew were detained for alleged violation of their licence by fishing less than three nautical miles from the Layar-Layar waters, here, Monday. Sandakan Marine Police Base Commanding Officer, DSP Rusdin Banin, in a statement, here, Tuesday, said the 7.30pm detention was done during an Ops Gelora Khas carried out by the team in the area.
