Steve Bruce was confident Allan Saint-Maximin escaped any serious injury problems against Liverpool on Saturday.
The Frenchman was at his mercurial best in the 1-1 draw as he constantly terrorised the Liverpool defence.
In response, the Reds defenders made sure Saint-Maximin was hit at every opportunity.
Speaking after the game, Bruce was not worried about Saint-Maxmin missing next weekend's clash with Arsenal.
He said, via the Chronicle: "Saint-Maximin's going to take knocks because of the way he plays.
"I think he's OK."
