Watford are set to beat Manchester City to the signing of Rochdale prospect Kwadwo Baah.
The Daily Mail says Baah, 18, is out of contract in the summer and was due to join Manchester City in January only for a medical issue to halt negotiations.
Watford have subsequently stepped in to offer a £125,000 compensation fee for Baah.
He underwent a medical with the newly promoted Premier League side on Wednesday.
Should that reveal no issues they will discuss a five year deal.
