Kota Kinabalu: The rejection rate of housing loan application still high, and this needs to be improved if the housing property market is be improved. Hence, it is not just about the interest rate attractiveness that influence the property market.
This was expressed by Shylendra Nathan, General Manager of iProperty.com.my, when asked if the interest rate pertaining to the Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) rate determined by Bank Negara could be lowered further to aid the recovery of the property market.
