Manchester City fullback Benjamin Mendy was delighted to score in their 2-0 defeat of Leicester City.
He struck expertly at the King Power Stadium just before the hour mark, cutting onto his right foot and curling into the far corner to mark his second Premier League goal in his last six appearances.
Gabriel Jesus added a second shortly after and Mendy was overjoyed with finding the net and helping the team to claim the three points.
"It feels so good, I was so happy. For the team also at that moment, it was a good time to score. We know that if we push and push something will come.
"At the back, all the team did a great performance. Like this, we can do very big things.
"We worked hard like always. We knew that after the international break it is hard to bounce back. We were patient."
