Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos' new contract talks have hit a dead end.

Marca says there is still no news of an agreement between Sergio Ramos and Real Madrid over an extension to the defender's contract at the club.

The 35-year-old is set to leave Los Blancos when his deal expires at the end of this season if there is no reconciliation between the two parties.

The solution is simple. Ramos will accept the terms of a new contract if Real Madrid agree to give him a two-year deal, even if there is a pay cut of 10 percent involved.

However, Real Madrid have no intention of giving Ramos an extra two years. They made the centre-back an offer of a one-year extension back in January and have not budged since.
