AC Milan are keeping their powder dry over their interest in Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
Off contract in June, Giroud is expected to be on the move from Stamford Bridge this summer.
Milan directors Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini are fans of Giroud and keen on bringing the veteran to Italy this summer.
However for the moment, no firm contract proposal has been tabled.
Earlier this week, Italian intermediary Vincenzo Morabito confirmed trying to place Giroud at Milan in January.
