Fenerbahce are seeking to reunite Mesut Ozil with his former Arsenal teammate Shkodran Mustafi.
Mustafi is currently with Schalke, where he has a contract to June, but will leave this summer after a disastrous time since joining from the Gunners in January.
Takvim says Fener have already made a move for the Germany international with tentative contact established.
And Fener are also involving Ozil, who has called his former teammate about joining him in Istanbul.
Such a move would suit Mustafi as he seeks a clean slate after an absymal time with S04.
