Newcastle United are ready to try again for Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury.
Toon boss Steve Bruce wanted to sign the England U21 international in January but Leicester were unwilling to let him out after Dennis Praet picked up a hamstring injury.
Now, with Leicester having lined up the £20million signing of Lille's Boubakary Soumare, they would be willing to listen to offers, says the Daily Mail.
Bruce's main problem though will be persuading owner Mike Ashley to increase his transfer budget.
It's understood Newcastle have around £12m to spend plus any revenue they raise through sales.
