Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen admits he drew inspiration from Liverpool hero Dan Agger when growing up.
AC is now preparing for the Champions League final against Manchester City.
He recalled, "I grew up with Daniel Agger as my role model because he went from Brøndby to Liverpool early in his career. He was always a hope for a young player when you saw him break through and he was also in a Champions League final with Liverpool.
"I always learned that I should look at the Italian defenders such as Fabio Cannavaro when I was growing up. So I always watched them play.
"It was always them who I tried to learn from, so it's great for me if I am called the 'Danish Maldini'."
