BEAUFORT: A 43-year-old gave a drink mixed with herbicide to his five -year-old daughter before strangling her following an argument with his wife in Kg Bundu, Kuala Penyu, on Sunday.
Beaufort new Police Chief, DSP Yusoff Zaki Mat Yaacob said initial investigations found that the suspect’s wife expressed intention to bring their two children to their village in Keningau but the suspect did not allow it resulting in an altercation at 12pm.
