Krasnodar goalkeeper Matvei Safonov has welcomed interest from Brighton.
It's emerged that Brighton have sounded out Krasnodar about a price for the 22 year-old keeper.
Safonov said, "Brighton's interest in me? It would be interesting to try myself in England, but I didn't ask anything about it.
"It doesn't take my attention right now.
"I will do my best to prove my worth in the national team. I hope the coaching staff will see that they can rely on me."
