Everton have added former Lyon manager Rudi Garcia to their list of possible managers.
The Toffees are still working on securing a replacement for Carlo Ancelotti, who is back in charge at Real Madrid.
According to L'Equipe, Everton have made early contact with Garcia about joining the club.
Garcia left Lyon at the end of last season after finishing fourth in Ligue 1, narrowly short of the Champions League positions.
Former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez and Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini are also on the shortlist.
