Newcastle United management believe they'll see the best of Joelinton next season.
The Evening Chronicle says slowly there were signs in the final days of the season - especially when Joe Willock arrived to change the team's dynamic and hand the striker more space to play in - that he was beginning to deliver.
One source explains: "I think Newcastle are keeping it quiet but there is that hope that next season he emerges a bit as someone who is that consistent creative force.
"He certainly looks more settled, his training performances are consistent, he can speak the language, he's got his family here and he's well-liked in the dressing room.
"The way he ended the season should give him that confidence."
